Tamari CM offers the following services for individuals
One-on-One Coaching
One-on-one coaching is an opportunity for a person who is currently experiencing a conflict to prepare for and manage the situation they are facing. These conflicts could be with a loved one, a family member, a friend, a colleague, a group, or an organization. Coaching could include figuring out the following:
Coaching could include active listening training, role-play exercises (allowing you to practice prior to a possible meeting) and debriefing after engagement with the other party.
Employment Dispute Management
Workplace conflict is common, yet we don’t always have the skills and tools to manage it effectively. During the 12 years I worked as an administrator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I had my share of conflicts with supervisors, peers, and people who reported to me. Thus I have been both a party involved in conflicts, as well as the person guiding colleagues who experienced conflicts.
I have been part of the process of letting staff go, and I myself was let go. I have both witnessed and experienced the physical, emotional, and mental impacts of disputes that take place in an environment where I spent most of my waking hours.
Similar to one-on-one coaching, employment dispute management provides an opportunity for a person who is experiencing an ongoing dispute at work to understand why it is challenging and what specific steps can be taken to move forward in a way that will eventually provide the physical, emotional, and mental well-being they need.
This service is not about advice-giving. Instead, it is about working with you to determine what is the best outcome for you, and what choices you can create to get there.
Transformative Facilitation
“Transformative facilitation” has many definitions. For the purpose of what Tamai CM can offer, it refers to the process of two or more individuals who are experiencing ongoing communication or conflict issues, and who wish to understand the reasons for their issues in order to move forward, finding specific actions they can take to transform both themselves and their relationship.
The above process would only be appropriate for people who are willing and able to be both vulnerable with themselves and with others. It requires “looking in the mirror” and working toward goals that would improve their relationship with themselves and with others.
